The reconstruction of Dresden Royal Palace has been ongoing since 1985. In 2002, the Free State of Saxony commissioned Kaiser Baucontrol to deliver project management services within the framework of selected subprojects. KBC has since been entrusted with 18 subprojects with a total construction value of approx. €200 million. Those subprojects have included the Historic Green Vault, the Turkish Chamber and the Royal State apartments, with strict adherence to demanding monumental preservation requirements essential in all cases. The completion of a ground-floor restaurant in 2022 was one of the final milestones in the reconstruction project.
