As reported in the September of last year, a new retail park with F&B outlets is currently taking shape as part of a two-phase project in Dresden-Nickern.
Support provided by Kaiser Baucontrol played a crucial role in the successful conclusion of the first phase, with the majority of the newly created premises entering operation in August 2023. Even though the opening of the last few rental units in the week before Christmas coincided with the completion of a new access road and a car park offering an additional 500 parking spaces, there was not a free space in sight!
The first construction phase was managed by Tom Gerhardt and Valentin Edel. The second phase is now under way, with the demolition of the building being replaced now close to completion. The construction of the new building shell began in November 2023, and will create space for around another 40 rental units as well as the offices for the park’s management.
Completion of the second construction phase – and with it the overall project – is scheduled for the third quarter of 2024. Once completed, the park will house almost 30,000 m² of retail space.
