The construction site is located at Hermannstraße 14 in Berlin’s Neukölln district. The facilities under construction take the form of a front and a rear building comprising a total of 15 units, 14 of which are apartments and one of which is a commercial unit. Both buildings are of timber construction with reinforced concrete stairwells. The roof of the front building is approx. 110 m² in area and extensively vegetated, while the rear building features an approx. 50 m² roof terrace with intensive vegetation.
Airbus Bank GmbH has commissioned Kaiser Baucontrol Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH to carry out project controlling from the start of construction work in October 2020 through to completion in 2022. Total construction costs stand at approx. €5.50 million.
