Heidekreis Central Clinic, Bad Fallingbostel | Cornerstone ceremony

On 19/03/2025 the official cornerstone was laid on the site of the new Heidekreis Central Clinic in Bad Fallingbostel. The medical centre is being built on an 18-hectare site near the A7 motorway and will lead to the amalgamation of the district’s two existing clinics – Soltau and Walsrode – to create a modern, central clinic. The new clinic will act as a central medical service provider for the region and provide space for 345 beds.

Plans foresee the construction of multiple buildings on the site, all of which are designed to fully comply with modern standards of medical care and efficiency. The project makes an important contribution to regional infrastructure and safeguards the provision of medical care for the region’s population into the long term. The cost of the overall construction project is estimated at around 300 million Euros, with the majority being funded by subsidies from the federal state of Lower Saxony and the national government. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2028, and the project is already of considerable significance to both the region and the medical sector in Lower Saxony.

Kaiser Baucontrol has been awarded responsibility for cost group 300 (construction) during HOAI phase 8 (site supervision).
