Customers were delighted when the 1,800 m² EDEKA Center supermarket at Bodenseestraße 253 in Munich finally reopened on 04/12/2025.
The modification and refurbishment project saw the old supermarket completely gutted and redesigned. In addition to buying their groceries in the EDEKA store, shoppers can also pick up a bite to eat from the Wünsche bakeshop or sushi outlet Happy Eat. A post office is set to open its doors in spring 2026. Total project costs ran to around €6 million, with Kaiser Baucontrol responsible for site supervision (HOAI Service Phase 8).
