The Krieger group is in the process of building a new HÖFFNER furniture store with an integrated high-bay warehouse in the city of Bremen.
The main three-storey structure is 15.10 m tall, around 168 m long (east-west axis) and around 78 m wide (north-south axis) if the protruding emergency exits on its facades are taken into account. An additional structure housing the high-bay warehouse, goods inward area and various plant rooms stands perpendicular to the main building and is connected to it by a single-storey structure.
The entire complex consists of prefabricated reinforced concrete frames with a fire resistance class of F90. Once completed, it will comprise a gross floor area of around 38,000 m².
Work on the carcass of the complex has now reached the 2nd floor. The construction of the façade of the furniture store is underway, with the creation of kerbs and the car park outside the main entrance also in progress. The carcass of the warehouse has been completed and is currently being clad in insulating panels (façade), with roof insulation and sealing work also ongoing.
