The modernization of the Kaufland supermarket at the Bodenseecenter in Friedrichshafen has now officially begun. In accordance with an existing framework agreement with Kaufland Dienstleistung GmbH & Co. KG, Kaiser Baucontrol has been tasked with carrying out a comprehensive package of project coordination services. As such, Kaiser Baucontrol will be involved in the modernization process right from the outset and ensure structured, dependable implementation in close consultation with all project participants.
The site comprises a total area of around 64,620 m², with the Kaufland supermarket housing a gross floor area of 15,290 m². 460 parking spaces will be available to customers upon completion. Construction began in September 2025, with the supermarket scheduled to reopen in May 2026.
